MEII Enterprises creates, performs, produces, promotes, and distributes jazz and classical music worldwide. (see Compositions).
Its first CD offering is Eugene Marlow's critically acclaimed "A Summer Afternoon With You," a collection of 10 original jazz compositions for jazz quintet led by pianist/composer Michael Abene. (see Buy CD). A second offering--"Making the Music Our Own: The Heritage Ensemble Interprets Melodies from the Hebraic Songbook"--is now available from CDBaby.com.
MEII Enterprises' third CD is "Les Sentiments D'Amour" ("Feelings of Love"), a cycle of 20 chansons for solo piano. The pianist is Lebanese-born, Paris Conservatory trained virtuoso Nada Loutfi. All the original compositions are by Eugene Marlow. This CD is now available from cdbaby.com.
The company plans additional CDs from Eugene Marlow and others next year.
MEII Enterprises also provides live music for private events (see The Heritage Ensemble). Instrument configurations range from solo piano to dance band sextets.
